Buycott Whole Foods

Hundreds have recharged conservatives have rallied at local Grocery Store chain “Whole Foods” on Tuesday night September 1st at 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. In a counter protest they are calling a Buycott of Whole Foods; the demonstrators are supporting whole foods market after local union stages protest at the Store.

The Whole Foods Store chain is known for healthy and organic food but since its CEO voiced his opinion over the President Obama’s Health care reform plan, Whole Foods has become a battle ground for partisan politics.

A Whole Foods boycott shows that none of them are buying into health care reform. Hundreds of Protestors have Buycott Whole Foods and on the other hand members plan to buy a week’s worth of food to support the grocery store chain.

Gina Loudon one of the Organizer and member said this is not a demonstration, but a shopping spree and dinner and a chance in diplomacy from what you have demonstrators of the tea party do before.

They are actually showing their support for the CEO of Whole Foods Mr. John Mackey, it all started after John Mackey wrote an article expressing personal opinions in the Wall Street Journal, in which he said that he is opposing the healthcare reform plan of President Obama.

Whereas, a supporter of Tea Party Rene Artman said “I have a right to mind, we are the United States of America and until I will heard differently the boycott of Whole Foods will continue.”

Last weeks the grocery store chain was the centre of buycott after a statement release from local union that John Mackey must be fired for his article in Wall Street Journal.

The grocery store chain Whole Foods has published a statement, in which they said the company does not have a perspective on healthcare reform. source of news
